Big Sunday is looking for a few good golfers — actually you don’t really have to be good, you just have to be willing to spend the day golfing for a good cause.

Big Sunday is teaming up with Habitat for Humanity for the Dawn to Dusk Golf Marathon on Monday, March 23 at the El Caballero Country Club in Tarzana. We are looking for about 15 players to tee-off at dawn and play as many holes as possible before it gets dark. There is no cost to participate, but each player is being asked to seek pledges of $3,000 from their own contacts via the event website. This could be $100 each from 30 friends, $30 each from 100 friends or $1,000 each from three really good friends — or frankly, any combination that works for you.

Our goal is to raise $45,000 to help fund projects for Big Sunday 2009, May 2 & 3. There will be food, drink, massages and prizes. You can have fun playing golf all day and do a good deed at the same time. Everyone golfs, everyone wins.
