For Big Sunday’s 17th (!) Annual Back to School Week, volunteers will come together from all over town to stuff backpacks full of school supplies for underserved students. This year, we’re hoping to fill 5,000 backpacks for kids at more than 100 different schools, after-school programs, shelters, group homes and more. 

We need volunteers (5 events to choose from!); collectors (start a collection in your community!); shoppers (items on our registry start at just 50 cents!); backpack sponsors ($25 each); and event sponsors (starting at $500).

Here are the scheduled events:

• Monday, August 3, 2026, 2:00pm – 4:00pm
• Tuesday, August 4, 2026, 6:00pm – 8:00 pm
• Wednesday, August 5, 2026, 10am – 11:30 am
• Wednesday, August 5, 2026, 6:00pm – 8:00pm
• Thursday, August 6, 2026, 10:00am  – 11:30am

All ages are welcome. Groups, too! (We ask corporate groups to please consider an event sponsorship.)
