4th Annual Valentine-Making, Bingo-Playing Community Breakfast

Sunday, February 14, 2016 10 am – 1 pm
6111 Melrose Ave. Los Angeles, CA 90038

We want to make sure no one is forgotten on Valentine’s Day, so once again we’re gathering tons of nice people to make cards and gift bags for thousands of shut-ins and people who are ailing or facing a tough time. As always, we’ll all enjoy a terrific community breakfast. And, we’ll continue the tradition – not sure how it started – of including a raucous game of bingo. Our pals at The Do-Good Bus will collect all the Valentines and deliver them to different locations across Los Angeles. Perfect, right?  All ages are welcome!

We are also collecting food items for our friends at Alexandria House, a non-profit transitional residence and house of hospitality providing safe and supportive housing for women and children in the process of moving from emergency shelter to permanent housing. We are collecting pasta and sauce, but cleaning out your cupboards is great. Soups, canned meats, cereal, beans, jelly and peanut butter are always winners too.

BTW: Would you or your group be interested in being a sponsor of this event? (Sponsorships start at $1000 and allow us to keep all our programs free!) Contact adam@bigsunday.org.
