The 4th Annual MLK Day Clothing Collection & Community Breakfast

Monday, January 18, 2016, 9am – 12pm
6111 Melrose Avenue, Los Angeles, CA 90038

At Big Sunday, we’re often surprised by how many people simply don’t have enough clothes. So, once again, we’ll be collecting all kinds of clothes for all kinds of disadvantaged and grateful people. Volunteers are needed to count, sort, and fold the clothes. Sewers and ironers are needed, too!

Of course, we’ll also all be enjoying breakfast together. And, once again, everyone is invited to meet someone new and participate in our memorable Something in Common photo project. We like to think that this is in the spirit of Dr. King and something he’d have enjoyed.

New and gently-used work clothes, casual clothes, and athletic wear needed. New socks and underwear are greatly appreciated, too! All ages welcome.
