Yes, of course we’re hosting Books ‘n Brunch!
(The pandemic can’t hold us back from getting books to the folks that love them!)
This year we’re collecting books just for kids and young adults!
Our Annual Books ‘n Brunch sorting event will be on Sunday, September 25, from 11am-1pm. All ages are welcome. We will need many hands to sort through all the books!
For everyone’s safety we ask that everyone 5 and up is fully vaccinated. Mask and social distancing will be encouraged. The event will be an outdoor event in our parking lot.
Wanna help us get some books? For $25, you can get us 25 books closer to our goal!

We are accepting new or gently-used (let your conscience be your guide) books for kids and young adults only.
Please do not donate adult books, religious texts, travel guides, dictionaries, school textbooks, adult books, or any book with damaged or missing or scribbled pages. Thanks.
You can drop off your books at our office at 6111 Melrose Ave, Los Angeles, 90038 anytime from 9am – 5pm Monday – Thursday and 9am-1pm on Friday until September 24.
Please pull into our back parking lot. The entrance is on Seward St. We are at the end of the lot. There will be a table there to leave your books. Due to covid, we are asking donors to offload their cars on their own.
In addition to the books please include a piece of paper with the number of kids’ books and young adult books that you are donating. (Our goal: 5,000 books!)
Do you want to help sponsor this event? Fantastic!
Event sponsors help us get even more books into the hands of even more kids. Plus, it allows us to get even more people engaged in helping others. Sponsorships start at $1000 and can be bought by individuals, groups or corporations. Many corporate sponsors like to send employees and their families, too, which we love.
If you’re interested, please contact email@example.com for more info or follow this link to become a sponsor!
