Welcome to Big Sunday!

We connect people through helping.

Dear Friends,

Like many of you, all of us from Big Sunday are now working from home. However, during this time, we still believe in the power and value of staying connected.

And, like everyone else, we’re doing our best to stay safe, healthy, informed, calm and collected. Personally, I think there’s something to be said for trying to keep one’s sense of humor, too.

Here’s what we’re doing:

  • We’re sending a daily e-mail including ways you can connect, ways you can help, and ways you can stay entertained. Everyone on the staff will be weighing in. For sure, we’d love to hear from you, too! Let us know what you’re doing (even if it’s just hanging around) and how you’re doing. To receive the email, contact lauren@bigsunday.org.

  • We’re in touch with our sister nonprofits all over town, and are doing our best to help them fill their needs. For the most up-to-date requests, check our daily email, as well as our Facebook and  Instagram pages.

  • We’re also hosting a phone tree, where we reach out to folks just to say hello, chat for a bit, share a laugh, break up the day, and remind ourselves that we’re all in it together. If you have someone (anyone, anywhere) you’d like us to call, please contact beenish@bigsunday.org and give her that person’s name and number.

  • Of course, you can always email me at david@bigsunday.org or anyone else on the staff, too. (Our email addresses are ourname@bigsunday.org. (Except David McB whose email is, naturally, davidmcb@bigsunday.org.)

Please take good care of yourself and everyone around you. We’re here for you. And, of course, now more than ever we’re all in it together.

With love and best wishes from all of us – myself, Berenice, Beenish, David McB, Pablo, Tamara, Alan, Ty, Lauren, Daniel and Naia – at Big Sunday.

David
