Big Sundays Past
Every year our amateur and professional volunteer photographers fan out to hundreds of locations to capture the hard work and joy that make Big Sunday so great. We’ve set some of our favorite images to music. These QuickTime movies are fairly large — so please give them a few minutes to download.
The wonderful folks from Wildwood School joined together with the wonderful folks at the James J. McBride Special Education Center to fix up McBride’s campus. Together they planted, painted and partied! To see more Big Sunday Weekend project videos, check us out YouTube.
Dozens of volunteers came out to the Baldwin Park Animal Shelter in Los Angeles County to remodel, clean kennels, paint beautiful murals and hang out with and adopt some very grateful animals. To see more Big Sunday Weekend project videos, check us out YouTube.
Another year of memories, from the pig farm in Solvang to the homeless shelter downtown, and from the Watts Tower to the temple in Orange County, our photographers captured some magical moments.
Our photographers captured these great black & white photos from our wonderful day at the Farmers Market. We made flowerpots for shut-ins, sorted books and clothes for the needy, served brunch and played bingo with veterans and homeless women and entertained the masses.
Another year to celebrate — the hard work and good times, from Ventura to the OC, our photographers caught it all.
We had 50,000 volunteers painting, sorting clothes, books and toiletries, cleaning, cooking, baking and partying. Nearly 100 photographers caught it all. Here you’ll find many of our best, funniest and most moving pictures.

We had a great party for these foster kids and their families.
Once again, our photographers captured the best the day had to offer. As always, we painted, gardened, sorted clothes, books and toiletries, cleaned, cooked, baked, partied.
Here’s another Big Sunday school project where volunteers painted, cleaned, gardened and held a carnival, drama and musical performances. We distributed clothes, toys and books, too.
